Steven and Isabella Schaefer have been named to the organization's PHCC Educational Foundation Board of Governors.

This group – composed of leading contractors, manufacturers, and other industry partners who are major donors to the Foundation – is responsible for guiding the development of industry education and training programs for contractors and their employees.

Schaefer is president of Schaefer Mechanical Services in Westminster, Md., specializing in multi-unit apartment, condominium, and senior housing projects and providing plumbing service for both residential and commercial customers. He has worked in the plumbing profession since 1973.

Dedicated to providing superior service and craftsmanship on behalf of the business that bears his name, Schaefer also has been a devoted contributor to PHCC and the Educational Foundation. A PHCC member since 1995, he has served not only at the national level as a zone director on the Board of Directors and as a member of PHCC's Energy and Water Conservation committee, but has also supported the Maryland PHCC as trade show chair, board member, and president.

"Over the years, Steve has influenced countless professionals with his generous contributions of time, talent, and financial support," said Peugeot. "Now, as a member of the Board of Governors, he's also helping to secure crucial industry education for generations to come."
