April 21, 2023

The Associated Air Balance Council (AABC) has announced a new AIA-approved webinar in its TAB Talk series to take place on May 17. This presentation will examine the performance impact of improper valve sizing, unstable system pressures, and balancing device selection. It also examines the physical effects of valve authority and coil degradation and presents technologies that can help resolve these issues. Learning objectives include the following:

  • Explore the design and modeling assumptions regarding hydronic systems
  • Identify the system performance issues that are caused by improperly sized control valves and poor valve authority
  • Understand how variances in coil performance affect thermal heat transfer efficiency
  • Discover how advanced control valves offer potential solutions for all of these issues
