APR Supply Co. Wins Epicor Excellence Award

APR Supply Co.has won Epicor's Excellence Award for 2022 at Epicor's Insights Conference. As an early adopter of Epicor's Eclipse inventory management software, APR Supply Co. credits the investment in the system over 27 years ago as a pivotal decision that has enabled the company's success throughout the years.

Celebrating its centennial year, APR Supply Co. was founded in 1922 as Lebanon Plumbing Supply, and is presently guided by third generation owner, president, and CEO, Scott Weaver. Since its inception, APR Supply Co. has grown from a single location to 38 branches and nine Oasis Kitchen and Bath Showrooms throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. The company's headquarters remains in Lebanon County, and most recently moved to Joel Drive where its main distribution center boasts over 350,000 square feet of storage.

While technology has changed dramatically in the nearly three decades since Epicor Eclipse has been implemented at the distributor, the continuous investment in technology sets APR apart from its competitors.

In the history of family businesses, the odds are less than 1% that a family-owned company will survive to 100 years, and still be owned by the same family. Christopher Bohn, vice president of project management and IT at APR Supply Co., credits the utilization of technology for much of the company's success.

"We have a Darwinesque approach to adaptability. While we are not bleeding edge, we are leading-edge. We view technology as a means to stay ahead of our peers and enable a sustained and robust growth rate," he said.
